Multi-Market Editorial Leadership & Team Development
Building stronger teams, healthier editorial cultures and scalable leadership models across EMEA and European language markets.
Overview
Leading Teams Across Markets, Cultures and Challenges
I have led editorial teams across multiple markets, languages and time zones throughout my career. At ESPN, as Managing Editor for EMEA, I managed a 30-strong staff through some of the most challenging periods in modern media history — including the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent return-to-office transition. I was a mentor in Disney's leadership programme and a vocal advocate for inclusive storytelling across platforms.
At Goal.com, I led eight language teams located across key European territories including France, Spain and Germany, producing real-time football content at scale. I integrated operations within Perform after Goal's acquisition in 2011, while ensuring Goal.com became one of the world's most visited single-sport sites. This required the ability to lead through change, maintain editorial standards and build trust across culturally diverse teams simultaneously.
At European Tour Productions/IMG, I rebuilt and led a 20-strong content team through significant organisational change, resetting expectations around quality, workflow and long-term value. I developed in-house talent for on-screen roles across social, video, podcasts and broadcast formats, and provided senior leadership that helped the team navigate uncertainty while maintaining delivery standards and creative ambition.
